Vincent van Gogh was a man who is somewhat famous for his mental instability. He later ended his own life. For the Doctor to go and show him that his art mattered, and that his existence mattered…is amazing. And I wish someone could have shown this amazing artist how much he contributed to the world.

I wish the Doctor could show everyone how they mattered, because everybody does matter. In our own small way, we change the world simply by existing.

I will always, always, ALWAYS reblog this when it’s on my dash.

It has gotten to the point where I’m either going to blacklist vegan or just unfollow these people.

My dashboard is constantly filled with pretentious vegan posts against meat eaters, playing the victim claiming they get so much hate from meat eaters yet I’ve not seen a single post of hate against vegans.

“You’re not a vegan unless you do it for the animals” ….Right funny I always thought the definition of Vegan was “A person who does not eat or use animal products.” There’s no mention about the context of being a vegan. So people who do it for health reasons are to be ridiculed by the rest?

Then there are people, like my other half, a vegan diet would be much worse for his health. “WTF WHY?” I hear them cry. Well he has allergies to Nickel, Mercury and Gold. Nickel is in soil and as you know vegetables, fruits and fungi grow from said soil and they absorb the nutrients and stuff from the ground which means that they contain Nickel. Yes it may not be a huge amount of it, but if his whole diet was based around this, he would become very ill. It is rare yes but nonetheless very harmful. When his skin is in contact with any of those metals his skin and flesh melts…so imagine the harm of ingesting them?

What’s my “excuse”? I personally don’t believe anyone ever has the right to tell people what they “must” do just to appease them. I have never ever hit or abused an animal in anyway, shape or form and just because I may eat meat doesn’t make me the worlds worst person. There are much worse people out there causing harm to fellow humans that could well be vegans/vegetarians. But they don’t eat meat so it’s okay. At least that is the impression that is left on me by Vegans.

I have been wanting to get that out for ages but didn’t want to come across as a dick, but certain posts on my dashboard made me see that if anything I’m being far more reasonable.

My final point is, I don’t hate all vegans, not even some. Everyone has the right to choose what they eat but for the love of God stop with the pretentious bullshit “God I hate meat eaters! They’re so ignorant.” What you’re doing is no different to what extremist religious people do. Think about it…

Each morning, like clockwork, they board the subway, off to begin their daily routine amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

But these aren’t just any daily commuters. These are stray dogs who live in the outskirts of Moscow Russia and commute on the underground trains to and from the city centre in search of food scraps.

Then after a hard day scavenging and begging on the streets, they hop back on the train and return to the suburbs where they spend the night.

Experts studying the dogs, who usually choose the quietest carriages at the front and back of the train, say they even work together to make sure they get off at the right stop – after learning to judge the length of time they need to spend on the train.

Scientists believe this phenomenon began after the Soviet Union collapsed in the 1990s, and Russia’s new capitalists moved industrial complexes from the city centre to the suburbs.

Dr Andrei Poiarkov, of the Moscow Ecology and Evolution Institute, said: “These complexes were used by homeless dogs as shelters, so the dogs had to move together with their houses. Because the best scavenging for food is in the city centre, the dogs had to learn how to travel on the subway – to get to the centre in the morning, then back home in the evening, just like people.”

Dr Poiarkov told how the dogs like to play during their daily commute. He said: “They jump on the train seconds before the doors shut, risking their tails getting jammed. They do it for fun. And sometimes they fall asleep and get off at the wrong stop.”

The dogs have also amazingly learned to use traffic lights to cross the road safely, said Dr Poiarkov. And they use cunning tactics to obtain tasty morsels of shawarma, a kebab-like snack popular in Moscow.

With children the dogs “play cute” by putting their heads on youngsters’ knees and staring pleadingly into their eyes to win sympathy – and scraps.

Dr Poiarkov added: “Dogs are surprisingly good psychologists.”
